History
In 1954, Knut Schmees senior laid the foundation stone for the SCHMEES group of companies. Through acquisitions in the following years, the companies “Chemie- und Kosmetikfabrik Schmees GmbH & Co.” (1971) and “HIT Products GmbH & Co.” (1989) were incorporated into the group. In January 2001, both companies merged to form the company “Chemie- und Kosmetikfabrik Schmees GmbH & Co. In 2016, “Chemie und Kosmetikfabrik Schmees GmbH & Co. KG” was renamed “Schmees GmbH”.
Since then, the company has been managed by the second generation and thus has more than 45 years of expertise and experience in the development and manufacture of personal care and hygiene products.
With the company “Schmees GmbH” we offer a very wide range of body care products, hygiene products, car care products and fertilisers. The high standard of the products is guaranteed by in-house development, production and distribution. We produce our own brands for major customers and our own brands. Everything from a single source and directly from the manufacturer!
